Spent some time in Belle Fourche, SD yesterday and went through a couple of antique shops.
Picked up this blowtorch and a kerosene engine block heater. The second picture is of a heater that I didn’t purchase (but wanted to get a picture of the label, so I can look for one).

Neat thing about the block heater is that there was a 98 year old gentleman working at the store that said he used to use them (similar) on his model T. I spoke to him for a while and found out that he served in WWII in the Philippines as a B-24 maintenance guy.

Of course I was more grateful to meet him than the purchases.

I've been looking for one of those blow torches just for fun. So how does that "motor heater" work? Is it just placed under the engine for a while?
