Told them either a Ram 1500 or my Cheyenne C1500, and of course it was for the Duster, no problems, no further questions, pick it up here at this time.............I own an F-150. And I've pulled New Yorkers with it on U-hauls.
When I book the trailer, it's an F-250 going to pull a Rambler American....

It'll be cheaper than hiring someone to truck it for you and besides....
I'll bet you'll have a great day on the road with the loved one or your son.
I ended up getting prices that ranged from $ .84 - $ 1.21 per mile door to door open carrier.
Who did you end up with? That is a great rate.
Yep.
Car carriers are arriving by the chitload right now and they're all hungry to get back up north for just the fuel money.
If you're up North and want a FL car shipped, do it now . I see as low as $0.60/mile right now.
For me, in the Fall, the reverse.
No problem, thanks for the trip down memory lane. Back in the day a question can streach out to two pages, now it's nothing but crickets. A lot of those guys commenting are no longer on the board and two of them have passed, RIP. I miss those days.I've used these guys A1 Auto Transport | Vehicle Transport | Car Shipping Companies before without issue. I assume what you're having shipped is non-op? You'll probably want to specify that when you contact companies because I think it's usually priced different than normal. Realistically, you should have a lot of options along the east coast, so you may want to do some price comparison before making a decision.
Edit: older thread, nevermind.
