Anyone know this ‘70 GT?

Steve, you own and enjoy it since more than 10 years now.
If I will have it for 10 years in the future and return it to you after that you will probably get it back when you are around 80. If you remember our conversation in October we both discussed how old you might become if everything works out well as you take excellent care of yourself. You hopefully will probably become 100 years old. So you might have another 20 years with it in the (unkown and uncertain) future. So I might get it back when I am in my late 70s.

And you could have bigger chances becoming 100 years old than me reaching the 70s.

:):(

You still have an amazing amout of vim and vigor left in you. Just take better care of yourself, eat right and exercise, and you will be surprised at what will happen. You can survive without a steak every night! Lot of veggies, fruits and maybe 20% meat. And workout! You would be surprised.

Sighs....yes I have been watching this thread. You know, one GT is never enough.

True, but they are not sent back to the market place repeatedly like the Hursts, so none rarely come up for sale no matter how much you might want one. Stop beating yourself up, its not your fault.

Very good points worth noting Steve.

There are far fewer 70 GT's that survived. Although they produced more 70 300/H than the 70 GT, their survival rate is much, much less.

So, on that topic, what's a numbers matching, decent, running 70 GT go for these days?

Maybe Carsten needs an FK5 GT?

I just have to ask this: how many of them were there? I can figure out four, and a fifth one peeking in the back. All nice ’n dry in that wooden garage.

There are six total. Not all GT's....61G-999, 61 Newport, 69 Fury,...etc. Nice and dry....

Steve is correct as usual.
FK5 is low on my "wanted" list.
Even though I like not having a v-roof

I have on in ER6 red which works as a gap filler till I get the blue or turquoise final keeper. Attached is a pic of it.
Running since June 2017 I put 3.000 miles on it till october. It did a lot of DD work. Mostly original paint. We have to swap roofskins though in the future.

But Dave loves the color

Dave, try to make a deal with Trev to add it to your collection

It is important that our cars go to good homes

:thankyou:

Unless he holds it for five years I'm out of the discussion . As noted all of mine are available and likely to find new homes over the next year.

IF they can find gotta have buyers

Wow, this looks g o r g e o u s!

What’s the matter with your keyboard?

Like your keyboard, Trev! :)

Well, a '70 Sport Fury would be good too, it doesn't have to be a GT. But for now I have too many other toy cars and things going on in my life so I concentrate on that for now. But: it's on my list! :)
