Sigh! I need a bigger bank account and a bigger garage.
I feel you, I am still waiting for the winning lottery numbers.

You should just sell off the NOS parts, part out the rest and scrap what’s left after a week.:poke:
I see what you did there, if the other guy's missed that other thread about the Dodge right about now they probably think you have gone and lost your mind.

This one is a much better choice and much better value for someone to restore than some of the other rust buckets that have recently been offered on this site. Especially since blue SFGT cars are hard to come by. Note that this car has a drum brake booster and MC?

Power drums.

That would be the first one I ever saw with drum brakes as the front discs were normally part of the A-52 option for SFGT cars.

Dave

Weren't drums standard? From Hot Rod Newsletter, I don't see discs as part of the package:

"The Code A52 Sport Fury GT package cost $3,898 and included concealed headlamps, E85 440 (350hp at 4,400 rpm, 480 lbs/ft at 2,800 rpm, 9.7:1 compression, Holley 4-bbl) with dual snorkel air cleaner, dual exhaust system with chrome splitter tips, H7Oxl5 rwl Polyglas tires, 16 slot road wheels, 3.23:1 axle ratio, TorqueFlite automatic, heavy-duty suspension with .98-inch torsion bars, shocks, and front sway bar, body side reflective (“Picket Fence”) and hood tape treatments in black, white, or orange, and bench seat interior, with buckets being $100.25 extra. The most noteworthy option was the 440 6-bbl for $153.45. Less than 100 Sport Fury GTs were so equipped and they are extremely rare finds today.:

The following vintage road test, posted on Curbside Classic, expresses puzzlement (see the end of p.41) at the fact that power brakes were not even standard on the GT.

Brain Fart, I fixed the previous post, you quite correct. We had about six or eight of these cars that came into the dealership and all had disc brakes. I would have pitied the poor soul that got one with standard drum brakes with the V-Code motor.

Main reason I am trying to sell is simply this...I dont love the GT.
That's awesome! No, I REALLY mean that. So many people keep things because 'others' think that item is cool or rare or whatever. You don't love the car, because YOU are a Dodge Polara guy. (I've had to defend selling my 71 SF because I don't 'love it' like I love my Fury Wagon) I liked you before Wyatt, NOTHING but respect for you after seeing this post. You are giving someone else a chance to have/build the car they may have dreamed about...NICE! Good luck on the sale.

I have and had two SFGTs.
One was power drums my current one is drums without power

Carsten

I’ve had 2 Sport Fury GT’s with power drum brakes.

They are more common than you would think.

I can't afford the car for now, but i would like to see pics of the door cards, dash assy, front seats too if that's okay.

and be sure to only list it now,at the end of the year going into winter and the holiday season when everybody who might be interested already has travel/family commitments and has used up their allotment of vacation time for the year.
Also make sure it's taken as far apart as possible and throw all the fasteners into one bucket.

Or chop the roof off and send the rest to the shreader.
