Bad News

I have to yell at family members to put the FN phones away while we're eating dinner at my house or at a restaurant.

I know.....My wife and i have phones, that's it. no texting or internet.......got sick of friends sending me pics/jokes all freaking day. If you got something to say, call me. Every hole on the planet thinks they are as important as hell, they don't realize that if they got squashed by a car the street would be hosed down and life would go on as usual.

and they can take Fb and shove it too.....oh, i'm at the mall shopping - poor me, i'm having a bad day - wave goodbye to me, i'm going on vacation.

I hear ya Mark. I even have text blocking on my cell. The folks with the electronic tethers stuck in their ears really can be annoying.
The world has to come to a stop so they can answer when their spoiled, snot nosed kid calls and demand they come home and make then a bologna sandwich cause they don't know how to open the fridge.

On the subject of C body appreciation. I've noticed at shows and cruise in's lately that the younger crowd seems to be drawn to the big cars. The are intreaged with the size of the car, the trunk space and the 440. I been hearing more often..... GEE..... I didn't know they made 300's way back then..... LOL. I do my best to encourge their interest and will give them the "tour".

yeah me too.........I love my C's but if an acceptable B shows up, i'm buying it. Just found a 68 coronet R/T 440 matching in Ala.......prob a rustbucket but I love it.

at the price that car would command, yes, I could not squeeze enough blood out of this turnip to buy it.......but you are free to find another guy with a rust free polara rag to bring and sell. i'll be there Friday morning by 8:30, and i'll drive by Gate 7 thurs afternoon about 5 to see what is in the corral up to that point.

Of course since i'm looking there will be nothing but A, B and E bodies......

so do I Will.......i remember there being 2 69 polara verts back in 08 or so, both yellow, both nice, both within my price range - of course, I wasn't shopping then. now that I am there will be nothing.......last year was a compl bust on C bodies for sale. There were plenty of beauties on the show field though!!!!!!!

no karmann-ghia, they are too small and don't have an available V-8!
