There was a 71 Charger Hemi that fetched 275,000 at Mecum it was a 1 of 1 because it was full loaded. Then they had a 71 Cuda Hemi convertible last year sell for 3,550,000.00. The seller would not take less then 3,500,000.00. You can see the bid on youtube they were 3,400,000.00 and stalled and the guy would not accept it. I tell you I love the car but I would not spend 3 1/2 million on a any car. Even if I was worth millions what are going to do with it put it in a museum or a garage and just stare at it.

You'd think it would have gone for 10 to 15K more especially being the 4 spd.
To me a 4speed is what makes a muscle car. I have a very rare 65 Sport fury 426 4 speed # 3 car. There was 100 made with that engine. Its a Commando 426 but still it will give you whiplash. You can look at the car and say it might need a few minor things but this car is a really nice driver. I'am asking 26,500 for it I know the guy and spoke to him about a week ago. He sold his for 27,000 he had on E Bay and the bid ended at 24,500 but someone called him after it ended and gave him 27,000 of the 28,500 he wanted. He found my car on line and told me that his car had a couple of minor things that made it a little nicer. He said it that the guy that listed is out of line I will have him drop it but he said take no less then 26,000 for it. Looking at it is one thing driving it is another. This car runs like new the trans is like new the clutch has very low miles and suspension is like new. The tires have 95 % tread I actually looked up cars that went in auction. I have the original engine a good amount of the 65 had replacement blocks. There was one that sold they replaced the block in 66 with 440 and put the original heads and other original parts. The car sold for 20,000. There was one sold here in New Jersey you can look it up on past E bay auctions the car was complete but needed total restoration. He told me he sold it for 11,500 on the auction it sold for 15,000 and it was an automatic. It was rusted through the interior was decent it ran but it sat in a damp barn for years and years. it was not a #4 it was in very rough shape

How's the taking and posting pics of your 65 fury going.
