The critics were saying the Batmobile wasn't worth more than $200K. It was one of the few cars for sale at B-J WITH a reserve. The reserve was $2.5 million.

Sheer lunacy. Where do these clowns get this kind of money since they obviously have no clue about the value of anything?
I had to turn it off after awhile last night. The only thing that made me happy was to see Craig Jackson's overhyped "Green Hornet" Mustang fail to meet it's outrageous reserve, so he is still stuck with it. Now we just need the bottom to fall out of the collector market and leave him holding the bag as payback for his greed.

Reminds me of the line you often see in for sale ads for old cars which I have never understood: "In good shape for the year". Basically I take it that if your car is still on the road it is better than most from that year which have already gone to the boneyard, so in the case of Raquel I guess it means she is better than most 73 year-olds, which I will agree with. Not sure about hot though. I suspect she is a miracle of medical and chemical science.
There was a few restored B's and E's for sale yesterday that I wouldn't mind having.

Not a $4 mil+ batmobile in the living room. THAT'S what I was referring to.
Even if I had crazy money.......the Batmobile wouldn't be on my list. No car for $4 million would be on my list.

I'm looking at B-J (recorded) and saw a 68 Hemi RR, HT, B-5 Blue, column shift sell for $60K. That was a great deal! The RR was in spectaculr condition.

I figured it out, I could buy 840 C-body coupes for what that guy paid for his one non drive able bat thing, not including the premiums and taxes and I'd prefer everyone of them over it!
