I have actually been very happy with the 5 year battery from auto zone. Mine is 5 years old and was completely discharged twice this summer when my voltage regulator went bad. I presumed it was the end of it but was not. Still cranking strong.
I spraay painted it black so it doesn't jump out at you when you pop the hood.
The 2 year battery is crap.
