Every once in a while, there's a car I would buy sight unseen.
This ain't one of them. Well, it's close to one of them but I'm not there yet.

Auction ended because Item no longer available? That's what it says. Also a $4500 buy it now was added. That makes no sense since nobody bid $1800 why a $4500 buy it now? Gotta love E-bay.

Auction ended w/o anyone bidding. The 45 hundred BIN was there right from the beginning.

Was it? I never saw it. usually when an auction ends with no bids it just says "Bidding Has Ended" No longer available means he ended the auction early I thought. Does anyone know did the auction go all the way?

2 reasons why he could have ended it early..........he made a deal with someone and pulled it or more likely he was afraid he would get a last second bid for the minimum start price and he was hoping to get more.

Atta boy Ross, that 6.1 will look good in there... Good sister car for your '67 Polara. :)

Yeah that's what I was thinking, he didn't want to sell for the minimum bid of $1800 and he got spooked that one bid was all he was gonna get.

It's common practice to end an auction, thats not doing well, early. Ebay charges a pretty hefty fee for a reserve auction and if one places a large starting price the item gets ignored, auctions are funny that way. Ebay is a good way to get your item exposed to a lot of people..... More deals are completed off site once the auction is ended.

auction has definetly ended early. He stopped.
Maybe he sold it outside.
Or he was afraid someone is just bidding in the last second and gets it for "just" 1.800 while he thinks it is more worth

I last checked that auction 9 minutes before ending.
At that point, it was still at the same status. $1,850/NR/4,500 BIN/ no bids.
I'm almost positive ebay will not allow a seller the option to end an auction that late. That's the way I remember it or has it changed?
