Best way to keep critters out of car durring winter months.

Bounce anti-cling/static strips you use for the dryer. I don't know how it works but it works. Good for motorcycles too. Keeps the mice from chewing up the wiring.

I've heard that the critters are less likely to go into a car that's not covered so I don't cover my cars and I think we've talked about the dryer sheet thing working well too.

I think the first line of defense is to make sure it's sealed up good, cover holes on the floor, make sure doors and trunk are tight. The question is are there any key places that critters can get through on a C that are supposed to be open, like floor consoles, etc., that get over looked?

I keep dryer sheets in my cars when stored. One in the trunk, one in the interior and one on the intake manifold. In the pop up camper too. No problems.
I don't buy those high dollar sheets though ........ Dollar General stuff is fine.

I've used moth balls before, but I think I'll give the dryer sheet thing a try this year if you ask say it works. Gotta smell better than those things.. Thanks!

That old Polish lady in Ohio that owned my Newport used mothballs in my Newport. 10 months later.....the Newport still smells like mothballs!

Does anyone know how to get rid of that damn mothball smell???

You can fix it with the radiator cap swap. It fixes everything.

We have alot of mice out in the sticks, so its a multi layered system. kitty patrol, decon along the edges of the shop (check weekly) and fresh cab inside the vehicle. visors down so they don't have a place to get into the headliner.

Yup swapping that cap from one car to a new one works every time.

I keep a spare in the tote in the trunk. I'm not kidding either. I drove the NYB across the country a few times already. Have to have a few spare parts in the trunk.
