I decided to take a gander at wtf is going on inside the dash. done right the first time.
I'm sick of playing games.Hey, I only want to do this once.

Do it once.
Let's do this right the first time.
Once, right, blah blah blah..
So, valve, control, switch, duct, bulbs, speaker, antenna.
Charge the a.c. and no more......

Come on Stan ....... just pull the entire dash assy and ....... Do it right ..... You know you want to....!

I ain't pullin no windshield....

Are you absolutely sure the windshield HAS to come out.......? I got mine out without removing the glass with a selection of 1/4" drive ratchet, various length extentions and a swivel socket. It took most of a day to remove and reinstall four bolts ..... but still easier then a windshield R&R.

I have changed several dash pads and never removed the glass BUT never on a pre 1970
