I just saw a picture of the dash. That's a shame. I have no doubt you'll have it sorted out in short time. BTW it's Kevin, not Karl but that's OK I've been called a whole lot worse.

Wow. Never paid attention to his name. Just Billy Bob Thorton to me. Thanks for the schoolin.

There's no way that the Chrysler dash is that much different from the Dodge. You do NOT need to pull the windshield.

Let's play the geedee Thermostat game again...

Now come back when you know you are 100% sure. And take your friend with you.

The head of that bolt is under the middle of the windshield gasket Stan is right, you need mental help to try and get in under that gasket and unscrew those bolts yes I'm sure it can be done if you would like to waste that much time pulling the windshield as much as it sucks is the easiest way. Your thermostat is good.

I'll have to tell the lead mechanic on my Polara project that he should have pulled the windshield...

I tryed to tell (Red) when he replaced the dash pad on his 68 Monaco that the windshield should be pulled................
I guess he found another way. The little bolts are just like what the 67 Chrysler's dash look like. If you are ok spending 3 hours on your back with 1/8" turns of a driver to save a gasket and some time, you have more time and patience than me!! My hands are to big to work in that tight of an area.
