I finished up the new compressor as well as new belts and hoses this morning.
YES... the flex radiator hose is gone.

The creek didn't rise and the good Lord was willing.
All it took was a new HVAC control switch, cables, an unobtanium NO$ valve, a built to order condenser, a rebuilt compressor, reattaching the ducts (Grrrrrrrrr...), some new wiring, new clutch bearing, a new compressor line fitting (THANKS, buddy ), and some cursing. Piece of cake. LOL.
Yesterday was 95 degrees and while not a meat locker, it will get me through the summer comfortably.
I'm just gonna drive it............

I LOVE the heat. Outdoors. Outside. Everywhere. I live all year long waiting for July and August. Bring it on. Just not inside the car baking in a steam bath...
To enjoy that down here is to be a psychopath or failing to make payments on your Buy Here Pay Here Sentra.

The Love Bug season is gone also.
Sebring has returned to normal.
US27 is empty. You can go out and stand in the middle lane blindfolded and still not worry about getting run over.
Saturday night. Empty. Quiet. Serene. The setting sun
Stop in at the local watering hole and there's only a dozen people there. '70's music playing. The best part is every one in there is a local.
The way it should be.
You pay your tab and step outside. All the cars are gone. And there's your gorgeous gal waiting for you.
Drive real slow home, all the windows down, arm out the window...
Heaven. I live for dusk in the summer.
