It needs a console shifter and a set of NOS Road Wheels to be worth that $24K. Nice car, by all means, though.

I disagree
It is a 69 so no road wheels
But a console and an L-code engine would have been nice

I have a couple 69 300s, and if I get around to restoring one of them, I would put recall wheels on it (the repops are close enough for this situation).

Wow.. drool !!!

It's been a while since I saw a 69' with this many options.. Power locks, sentinel light, 8-Track, dash speakers, pw seatS, bumper guard, deep dish wheel covers, PS side mirror, rear window defroster, PB, PW, PS, Vacuum trunk release, AC, and cruise.. and looks so clean "down under", that I'd almost let it run me over.. :-D

How many of you, would consider it priced right, if it had been a real TNT, with a console?

It is not out of the question @ 25,000 . I dont need the TNT or Console .

The car was taken down to bare steel, repairs made and repainted. There was money spent on the refresh.

In looking at the reflections in the paint in the listing photos, the body work looks quite good. And no apparent rust in the one photo of bare metal so maybe no significant body work was even needed. The only real negative is the auto temp. It sounds like you have had some discussions with the selling dealer - does the auto temp still work for both heating and cooling? That would tell a lot about the quality of the light restoration it appears.

honestly I wouldn't worry about the auto temp.
Roll down the window and cruise.

A console would be nice though the center fold down is really comfortable.

I think it can fetch 20k+

Sooooo, how do you know all of this info? Is this yours? Just curious.....
:)

You're right, I did have a few conversations with the shop and yes, I did ultimately buy it. I was letting it play out here because I wanted to hear some opinions on the car first.

I did have the car inspected as it was 850 miles away and unfortunately, it was too cold out to check the a/c at the time (car was outside). I did have them send me a video of a temp probe in the dash vent when the car was in the shop and the a/c was working. Of course, once I got it home, that was no longer the case. :BangHead: But I'm working on it.

In any event, it is a loaded car and aside from the Auto Temp and the clock, everything works, even the cruise control. It was a previous owner that painted the various bits of interior ( sadly that includes the headrests) which will be going back to white. There are a few rinky dink things to iron out, but overall the car is pretty nice and lazer straight.

The car was commissioned by a customer 4 - 5 years ago and the shop bought it back after the owner passed away. If anyone is interested in the work that was done to the car, go to the site

As an aside, they never claimed it to be a TNT car. Yes, it has the pie tin but it may have been the previous owner that added that.
