It might be helpful to know that when I was tall enough to reach the top of a quarter panel, I found a piece of sandpaper hand been put into my hand for some reason. I won't bore you with the details but it was a valuable apprenticeship completed to fully running a production restoration and late model refinishing shop, books and all, by 13.
Aside from the classic masters we are slowly losing, the list of customizers whom I respect is short. I could easily fit on one hand, those who could successfully complete my vision besides myself. A few fingers could represent those even capable of figuring it out without ridiculous expense because of lack of forethough. Customizing was not born of thinking with your wallet. It was traditionally a method of updating an older vehicle without the expense. My thoughts on this product are actually based on later modification principles, but only those which represent tasteful change. Something that had been lost for a spell...



Regardless...

It now appears a moot point. A family member saw her sitting outside for no apparent reason and had to know WTH!!?!@! Maybe I'll get to playing with one of the partscars at some point as a styling excersize to prove my point, but it seems this one is going to stay in a state of mild modification for some time to come.

Old goats often come with strange histories. But you have to take into consideration that in the 70's, something like a TR-3, MGA or TD, a tri-5 Chevy or whatever, was just a 20 something year old car needing some TLC. Not the same job as tackling one today.

The answer to the question was, yes to which I'd add a qualifier of that being merely a small portion of the business.
