This Monaco belongs to @rapidtrans. In his words, "replaced my too skinny 215/75x14 tires on 5.5” wide wheels with 225/70x15 tires on 7” wide rims. The tires now fill the wheel openings better but more important, to me anyway, is the better handling the bigger tires provides."

Interesting, rear wheel lip mouldings. I have always seen wheel skirts. I will open up the rear wheel openings on my 72 Resto-mod. I like this, may nopen it up more.

This car looks great with that setup. Not all do but I think this ones appearance is improved.
And I’m not big on cragars SSTs usually.

I know this is the wheel and tire thread but I gotta say, Monacos sported some of the greatest lookin wheel covers. My 65, the 66 and 69 models in particular.
