The needle stays right above the low mark thanks to the perfectly working 185° Stant SuperStat™ thermostat......How effective is the new radiator? Where's the needle on the gauge now after warm up? Same place or lower?

I know more about o-rings than you know about head gaskets. Ouch! Too soon?
So, ignore the possibility that the thermostat is not opening and just start pulling the heads.
I broke two cardinal rules. I deserved getting bit on the ***.
1. Read ALL the specifications including the fine print. Just because you're in a rush, you cannot assume anything.
2. Compare the original part to the new part when you get it. Just because you're in a rush, you cannot assume anything.
You forgot rule #3: If it's not a long time trusted name in auto parts assume it's improperly made.
HaHa, this thread came up as a suggestion on another thread. I was almost certain it was the thermostat.
