Can't get to the hose clamp at the heater core

This one is all the way against the firewall such that it's tucked in above the pinch weld crease so I can't get it from below. Will definitely be more careful about that on reassembly

I'm sure my 69 has the same pinch-weld as your 70. I may have had to do the outboard hose first but the bottom was easy using a nut-driver.

Def easier with the inner fender out. I'm going to do that and the blower

At the time i put mine on the inner fender was on, the pictures were to show the 69 being the same as the 70.
I had everything together before I realized the access issue, I wasn't going to pull the inner fender just to install the hoses, slid under, reached up, done.

Inner fender removal for the win! Made it easier to get to the retainer nuts too.

Almost have it out. I can't remember do you roll it up or down on it's way out? And do I have to take the bottom panel with the outlet for the driver's side vent off? I can't get it out from the dash just yet
