Congratulations on 1st place and celebrity pick Dave!

That Wagon runs and drives flawlessly. When I got it, it had a slight miss, a stumble maybe. It is an absolute pleasure to drive and the attention is stupid. I had it in the car corral for several hours. It drew like flies on honey. Holy smokes! An older gentleman stopped me when leaving Friday. He stopped me while driving the car through the swap on my way to gate one. Said " this is the most beautiful car on the field, everyone's talking about it. You can't sell it, it's the best car here, gorgeous car".
I wish I saw what he sees.

My disappointment is we couldn't get Rips car a top spot in the voting.

Finally have a minute to post photos from yesterday. A 300 Hurst showed up for @Trace 300 Hurst — this is CM23U0C228771 and was bought by its car collector owner a year or so ago. The car is registered in PA.

This 1972 GY4 Monaco is now based in NJ. 1971 remains my favorite of course, but this is really really nice.

In the Dukes of Hazzard section was a 1970 Polara sedan.

Some more photos. Rip’s Navajo, Dave’s show winner, @67valiant 100 ’s SFGT will be easily recognized.

Jimmy, the owner of the HB1 NYB, came again from Massachusetts. Super nice and gave me reproduction tape for Ming — how nice is that? Thank you!!!

Do you know if that is the Hurst that was offered up here? This time last year was for sale?
I made an offer on the car but couldn't come close to asking. Gorgeous car.

This fine Hurst went into the Registry last August. It was for sale on Facebook, and was located in Marilla, NY. and sold for $49500 as per FB. In the Registry thread we discussed that this was rumored to have been ordered by a dealership owner, thus the VERY loaded options. We also discussed the "plant security stereo tape" stamp on the Mulroney/sticker.

We got home a little while ago. We're all unpacked and the dog is back from the dog hotel.

The car ran almost flawlessly for ~600 miles. Almost.... We hit a rain storm just south of the PA/NY state line and while the wipers worked OK, the parking feature stopped working when I shut them off. Sigh....

Seems to always be the way . .

Thats the one. It likely went to a better home than I could give it. My number was a little lighter than that.
