Well Fella's, its never too early to get the next Carlisle thread started.....
Only 224 days to go. LOL!
The main reason I have started this thread is to inform everyone that Carlisle is offering a 20% discount if you register and pay for your 2018 Carlisle event ticket before December 31st. Nice Christmas present for yourself and your wife. So that means the cost right now for the Showfield Pass which is good for the entire event and includes 2 people will cost you $44 instead of $55. I know the discount is not a big deal but every little bit helps. So if you add up $10 per person for Friday, Saturday, Sunday alone will cost you $60 for 2 people. Plus you have to pay to park at most areas around the perimeter of Carlisle and then the long walk in to Carlisle.
I'm feeling well enough that I registered my 1978 NYB today. If I have a setback....I'll bring the 300. I plan on rebuilding the engine in the NYB. Nothing very radical but I'm planning on bumping up the compression to about 9.5 to 1, .484 lift performance cam, keeping the 452 heads which will have new bronze guides and a 3 angle valve job. I still have to rebuild the front door motors and regulators. Other than that....Cindi Lee will be ready to run the open road from coast to coast for a long time.
