Carlisle Hotel Reservations

The Motel Carlisle. I have been staying there for 12-13 years. Its not great but i'm a creature of habit
 
I'm hoping it does not storm like it did last year.....got kinda scary for a bit there, although we rode it out in a local puke n choke.

The hotel and parking lot is filled with Mopar people and cars.... no different than anyplace else except losing the bumper to bumper traffic.
 
I think so.......on the other side of 81 where the traff is a bit thinner

we ought to all try and get together sometime since everyone is coming
 
The 104* on that Saturday last year did me more harm then the wet stuff, lightning, and thunder ever could. Although the pictures of 'bout 20 of us in the middle of ah group hug in 2011 under ah canopy does look ah little bizarre? If that 100+ happens again this year I'm settin' up camp rite in the middle of one ah them Misters in the show field. I don't care if I do look like ah Drowned Rat, I'll be cool and them little kids are on there own to run back and forth rite around me! Thanks for clearing the air ah bit Polara71. I'll bring a 6pk of Vernors and you can have all 6! Good suggestion about trying to hook up and put faces to Avitars. I have no clue when, how, or where that would work tho'. Jer
 
stayed in chambersburgh a couple years ago. the restaurants didnt even know there was a car show in carlisle. parking lot at hotel was filled with daily drivers and a ciuple mopars.

I'm from Phoenix so I can handle 104, It's the humidity that'll kill me.
 
Maybe it's time I add AC to the coupe...
 
I'm sure your father iz bullet proof Polara71 but I was already on the planet when Hitler invaded Poland too. And you can tell the Turkey that it's ah dry heat when you stuff him in the oven all you want. But I'm here tah tell yeah: at 100*+ it don't matter what the humidity is or how old you is. THAT'S TOO DARN HOT
 
Dad was 70 at the time of last Carlisle and he walked with me every step of the five days we were there. I myself am 46 and I had no trouble with the heat, the hotter the better
 
Have to stay hydrated with water.......and everyone will be fine.
 
Yeah, I was bench racing with a guy and his wife there Last year on Thursday that were staying there but in the late afternoon were parked in the front parking lot with their '08 Lime Green Chalenger. My son-in-law and I ate there Friday nite. He ordered a Strip Steak and then told me after we left that they'd surved him a Rib Eye. I sat there and ate my meal and watched him devour his and he never said a word. I laughed all weekend about that. Just too funny! You'd have to know my son-in-law so you could understand and laugh with me, Jer
