My doctor disrobes to help make patients feel a bit more "equal", then uses aroma candles for illumination, rather than bright exam room lights. The aroma candles also disguise the chemical smell of the cloth towel he asks you to breathe into to prevent hyper-ventilation. Usually there is soft music. Then it's like you loose time until you awaken in a chair. Not nearly as bad as the experience I've heard from others.

Somehow I skipped straight to the colonoscopy. My last thoughts as I was being put to sleep by the very cute anesthesiologist, "boy am I going to fart so bad".

I woke up sitting on a diaper and apparently leaking lube... maybe similar to your experience. :rolleyes:
All I wanted was to get outta there, and the mean old nag in the recovery room was the obstacle. At first she was right, I was way to dizzy to walk out. She made me drink a cup of water and then wait for the doc to come see me. Finally she said the only thing stopping me was she hadn't observed me passing gas. "Oh is that all?" Three faces that should have been photographed... Viv's horror, The Nag's disgust and My pride... I was dressed and gone in flash. Smoking is a great motivator.:lol:
