The word "Number" is redundant.......... The acronym has the "N" which stands for the word "Number"... It's like saying "vehicle identification number, number"........

I worked Law enforcement for many years and heard it so many times it doesn't bother me at all, but I know some people who liken it to scratching on a chalkboard.

I'm absolutely sure that Chrysler would not of let any car for training purposes or otherwise get out of their hands with an active real VIN number. I don't believe these cars could ever be registered or plated and driven on the road in any state.
