Chrysler's at Carlisle will be 12-14 July 2013 this year.

The Gate-N-Go online registration is up and running on the Carlisle website. Looks like the price went up. $55 gets your Mopar and 2 people in for the entire event. There's a 10% discount if you register before June 10th which drops the price to $49.50. Still a great deal.

Who's going this year???

I'll be there.

Daisy Duke Competition Returns to Carlisle

Shorts, Plaid Shirts, Boots and Beauty on Full Display
There are so many things that folks remember about the Dukes of Hazzard including the characters, the stunts and the cars. When it comes to the characters just about everybody remembers the shorts that Daisy Duke wore. In fact, they are so popular they took on her name. Back by popular demand, grab your best pair of Daisy Dukes, maybe a tied-off plaid shirt and be at the stage on Friday at 3 p.m. to see if you can win the title and some cash. If you roll up to the stage in a yellow ’73 Road Runner you’ll probably earn bonus points!

I'm seriously thinking of making the cross country journey this year. I need to go back to NY and visit my family and Carlisle is only about a four hour drive from there. Hell I drive 7 hours twice a year for Spring and Fall Fling and 4 hours to MATS in Vegas every year so that drive should be a piece of cake.

That last picture was the Miss Carlisle contest......I'm looking for a pic of the Daisy Dukes Contestants. Here is Catherine Bach.

Heck, this is the only picture I could find. Some how my 2012 contest pictures disappeared

Looking forward to meeting you. You'll be comfortable with the heat........

I'm thinking about it. I'm going to be in Ontario at the beginning of July. I still have to decide if I want to trailer the car cross-country again.

They have an area where you can setup campers and rock star busses.

My birthday is on the 13th, just letting you guys know now so you can plan something.

The registration has a box where you can pick an associated club like Northeast Hemi Association or Imperial Club, etc. I just think that if we had any kind of attendance from FCBO (and it didn't cost anything) we could get FCBO added and have spots for our cars side by side on the C-Body line at Carlisle.

I'll take numbers 2&3 from the left side to go, please. Lordy.

For a free tent the following year you need 25 members to register as a club member this year.
No guarantee the tent will be standing in the c body section

It'a amazing to see the number of beautiful ladies up on the stage for Miss Carlisle and the Daisy Duke Contest. The grandstands and stage area was full of people watching the contests. There will be a Daisy Duke Contest this year also. Damn it, I thought I had those pictures backed up on my brick but can't find them.

I was talking up Carlisle and the contest to draw up interest in people from FCBO attending the show and wanted to post a picture.
