Convertible C Bodies.. Let's see some - Perfect or project.. Condition Don't Matter!

That's one sweet ride you have there Bryan, what's the plan?

It's tore apart out in the garage at the moment undergoing a mild mechanical rebuild. Trans has been refreshed, rebuilt 915 heads, just opened up a package of correct 68 magnum manifolds, and have a bunch of other parts to refresh the fuel system front to back, 440 6 BBL, going to rebuild front suspension and weld / reinforce K frame, and convert to 11" or 11.75 front discs, rod or rebuild rad / cooling system w/ aluminum WP, new belts, hoses, etc etc etc repaint everything I"m working on then onto the drive-shaft and rear end, bilstein shocks, new leaf springs, undecided on 3.23 sure grip rebuild or Dana 3.54 ..

The rest will remain 30 ft driver quality because that's what it's gonna be a driver for as many days a week as I can. Oh it's gonna need a new top too :(

If it is me you are directing this to. Thanks. My plan is to drive, drive, drive.... Then someday when I have the time and funds, do a complete ZYMURGY to her. It is a really nice 10 footer right now, but the front seat is unraveling at the seams, and the paint is tired. It had a poorly repaired dent in the right front fender at some time, and a Earl Schaib (sp?) paint job in '92, but the body and undercarriage is a 9-10 as far as rust goes, and it only has about 65,000 miles on it so is well worth the trouble. I have gathered all the bits to do a complete front end rebuild, so that gets done next spring. Eventually, I would like to find a '65 413 to put in her, and maybe a three piece front seat out of a new yorker or newer c body to replace the standard bench, but that is not high on the priority list. A couple more shots from last summer (and another winter shot).

I'm contemplating ordering a bunch more parts

He was talking to you Bryan.. I got confused and thought he was talking to me..... Apparently, along with too many red convertibles, there are too many Bryans with red convertibles.......:eek:ccasion14: (Can't ever have too many of either, I think)

You guys both have killer rides and I want to watch the both of you "Zymurgize" them!

Zymurgyize or Stormer it; thaese will be the two restoration approaches of the future. :)

Is that even real?, because I want it!

Maybe the smaller one of the models is affordable to C-body owners. :)
