When i read "Car art" I was thinking art on car, not car on art. I was expecting a bunch of those vans from the 70's.

Look closely, this is a picture, not a photograph. I believe it was at least partly airbrushed.

You are referring to Art Fitzpatrick and Van Kaufman. One of them did the subject car and the other did the background.

This was a b/w photo that someone has colourized. I believe they did research to find out what the actual colours of the cars were at this show to make them correct as much as possible.
