...was also nice to see l don't have to ...do anymore rust repairs to a dutchmans panel

If I were you, I'd check into that spot there on the left under the decal. Looks like it's working it's way to an eventual repair. On any of these cars, I'd probably pull the back window and scrape out any surface rust and coat with Zero Rust or some heavier coating as a preventative measure.

Super nice car tho. The interior is incredible. I'm also jealous of that SF grille. Wish I had it for mine.

ya will be definitely pulling rear window trim and cleaning up those areas...that little spot under the sticker is the only spot on the back window that theres a issue...bottom line is the vehicle will never see inclement weather again so is just a mater of cleaning up and dealing with any present issues and vehicle should be good for many years to come.
as for vehicle info was amazed that everything from day one was still with vehicle..the previous owner took great care of the vehicle and is now up to me to see to its needs and see the car survives me and makes it to its next caretaker down the road

Just so we are all clear.....I called Dibs first if and when he is tired of this beauty or when he needs room for the next friggin unicorn he shows up with...

I gotta stop hangin around that storage yard of critters. Em fusies is starting to grow on me. Especially after taking Goldie for a burn around the yard. Solid as a rock you've got a great driver there D.

in swapping from the standard grill to the hidden headlight grill is there anything l need to do to the headlights or there mounts to make a hidden headlight setup work?
will get motor and bar ect and center support looks to have holes for motor bolts so short of wireing dosnt look to bad to switch over...from what l understand bumper has to come off which is okay as it gives me oppd to clean up front end

Seems to me I ran into a slight problem with the headlight buckets. The hidden vs open grill types use a different bulb setback. I do have a bunch of light buckets so you can pick what you need. Measure from the rad support to the bulb face on your car and compare it to the GT. I used 71 light buckets since they are also setup for optional bulb washer/wipers. Be prepared I always say!

I understand your dilemma, too nice to change, must be saved/preserved as is. But it's better to start your build with a nice car less metal work, parts chasing, etc. In the end it's your car and I will follow along no matter what you decide. Good luck.

I guess I'm the only one here that would make a triple black sport fury GT clone out of that one. You probably won't find a better starting point then what you've already got. Keep all the original parts and if the next owner wants to change it back to Mr Boring Green Interior then have at it, otherwise you still wouldn't have scratched that itch.

Thanx....bringing it home to work on over weekend...will get measurements and check back with ya

honestly if interior had some issues would pull it in a heartbeat and have at it...have actually been considering building a dunk tank so l could dip seats whole and dye cloth black and use SEM landau black for other interior pieces and vynal
70 would definitely make good starting point but honestly just needs cpl basics and is done...are lots of vehicles out there to do up a triple black 70 fury in the future...case in point still have the 71 parts car that's in pretty good shape yet
