Everything's clear I think. Just the formalities left!

I'm already dancing if this answers your question ;)

You've been working hard on it and catered with your posted NM ads to flippers all over the US. :)

No, no. Allow me..............

Yeah Julian!!!Couldn't be happier about this one, congratulations!
Now I can stop trying to get a hold of these jokers that post ads but don't really seem to want to put any effort into selling.

Congratulations VDK, its finally happening! Can i offer some advice? I think it would be a good idea, if Dano is willing to help out would be to prepurchace all the wear parts for your car. They would be the brake linings, brake spring kits, brake hoses, master cylinder, rear cylinders etc. Also radiator hoses and spark plugs, leads, anything that would cost a bunch to import later. Have it all shipped to Dano who can simply hide it under the seats of the car etc when he gets the parts. It will be a big time and money saver to do this, i know i have done it before. (consider buying an overhaul kit for the 440 that includes rings, bearings and gaskets, they typically cost less than 200 dollars here) Being such low miles i would say go standard on the bore and buy ten thou under bearings. Its up to you and Dano though, cheers,
Gary
P.S. if you need advice on where to buy it cheapest i am sure a few of us here can offer advice on that.

Thanks Guys. Was a hard one... but not much longer and I'm one of you Mopar guys :)

Dano is very patient with me ;)

Let's just hope it won't drop in the sea, but that's statistically near impossible after losing one car around here already.

I am actually looking at a c body up there and thinking about getting it depending how hard it is to get it through customs.
shouldn't be a problem. i have imported to canada 5 vehicles in the past 6 years or so. U S customs needed a photocopy of the title 72 hours prior to me bringing it back to canada, i guess to make sure it wasn't stolen or have any liens against it. all went well. paid the taxes on it at canadian customs. , as long as you have the paperwork in order and a bill of sale. if bought on ebay a printout of the winning bid and you should be good to go. i am sure it would be the same as buying a car from canada and importing to the U S . if u buy it you could have it shipped to my place an hours drive from the detroit michigan/ windsor border if you needed to stash it for a bit.

Whewwwww what a day. Just fresh off knee surgery last week I got done everything these two gentelman wanted. I got all 4 tires off and took them down to a tire shop to have fixed so they will hold air and got them back on. It was a job but i got under it and got the ole girl to spin. Would have been easy if the fan shroud wasn't in the way. I could just barely get a 1 1/4 socket and braker bar on the crank bolt. Got the vin info as well as tons of pictures of the body and interior and the 4 hub caps and fender skirts. I am pretty positive one way or another its either going to Germany or California. I have to say the two Gentelman who are interested are two of the nicest guys i have met and i haven't met them face to face, if that makes any sense, lol. I have answered every question, taken every picture, done everything they have asked so now its time for a BEER.:eek:ccasion14:

Oops, I thought it was a done deal for Julian! In that case, may the best man or the quickest to get the payment out win!

It's a done deal now. We "Julian and I" are just trying to get payment in order. I think he may be sleeping or it may be night time over there. It is 7:45 here on the east coast.

Excellent, glad to hear Julian got it.

Hey thanks for the concerns but I haven't needed any pain med since after day 3. Plus I am not a heavy drinker.

Hey gents! I have a question for all you c bodie faithfull. We are having a hard time agreeing on a payment that is safe for me and safe for him. I wanted to do paypal but paypal charges 7% so it is going to cost him more money. He suggested a wire transfer but that would require my account info and i am NOT giving that out. Any ideas guy?
