Love the color combination. Would love to have this car but no title.

Maine would not title that. just a bill of sale and its done. would ask for copy of his bill of sale

5 miles from me...Dammit! Dammit! Dammit! now a ride this afternoon

That's not going to last long.

Wow that is a good looking car with the white interior. I don't see how you could go wrong. Well unless you would have troubles getting a title.

That's correct. I used one of the titling services in Maine to get a title, they even sent me 2 license plates. They are like Ga & Alabama.

Talked to seller. He and I have an appointment tomorrow afternoon when he gets home. It does have needs.

Dual exhaust could mean it has the "U" code which would be a real nice bonus....

Check with your State Dept. Of Transportation office. I heard of some states relaxing the cars w/o titles. They obviously would run the vin for wants and be subject to a saafety inspection and then possibly another title.

Dave is a good guy! He has an enormous collection of wheels and wheel covers/caps! I believe he said that this was his mother's car at one time. I looked at it a few years ago , and it was decent, but it did have some rust bubbles under the vinyl roof, but nothing real scary back then. Good luck I would like to see it on the road again!

It is a standard T code engine, with an aftermarket dual exhaust system installed. There are 4 guys lined up to view the car today. That should be fun. A friend of mine talked with the seller at length yesterday, and apparently he has a large number of premium vehicles, some with very very low miles. Interesting guy, he said. My friend is late to the party though, it seems. Sounds like a bidding war will ensue, or maybe the first guy there will succeed.

Talked 20 minutes with him yesterday ,he sold almost every car from his collection , around 25 cars he told me.
Yes the 71 was his mothers car....
This car and a 67 coronet are the last two he,s selling.
Funny , the new yorker was advertised under antiques , not under cars and trucks.....

Four guys in a line before me? It seems I joined the party too late. Oh shoot :-(

This looks very much like the car that was for sale some years ago, when it was supposedly taken out of the garage for the first time in some thirty years or so. That one had a seized engine (the very reason it was put in the garage in the first place), but very low miles. It had a big dent in the rear quarter panel, too. - This can't possibly be the same car, can it?
