Damn shame...that I can't save them all.
I cannot speak to the FB enthusiasts, but the 1000 or so members in here who actually love C bodies would not have been a waste of time to talk to. IDK if you really like the vibe here very much, but it would be seen as poor behavior to bash a members car. If you tried to sell on your third post maybe, but several folks would have stepped up if you were bashed for trying to sell her. $3k isn't an ignorant asking price... being in the middle of nowhere might have stopped some, but shipping isn't that bad.
I am a little hopeful that decision to start a thread about the destruction and parting of this car isn't some spiteful act, because I don't recall seeing her here before either. Good for you if this gets the sale accomplished. But, IMO, shame on you if this is really the only attempt to bring her to us (and you kill her before weighing offers).
It may be a generational handicap, but I don't understand FB and can seldom find anything I want there. I have tried... just to see if I could locate cars like this. Do you know something about searching for this stuff that might help me find the next listing before it's 3 years old and the car is just a memory?
BTW Captin... I looked just over your posts and see you were active until 2014, but I failed to see where you got badmouthed by anyone. IDK what turned you away from here, but like any small community, the place will only be as good as it's active members make it. Welcome back.
I' pretty sure if you offered a sunroof pretty much rust free Formal here on FCBO someone would of stepped up.
