Well guys! Today is finally the day I took delivery of my 1968 New Yorker 2 door. I couldn't keep it in storage any longer and it's (almost) warm enough to be outside working on it! The very first thing I did was removed that vinyl top! Now it's time to dive deep into this project. It's gonna be a great time!

Congratulations. Now the fun,(and frustrations), begin. Best to research your car first. Decode the fender tag, VIN and look for a broadcast sheet. Careful if you find one, they usually take careful extraction. Place it in a acid free page protector and make several copy's of it before stashing it in a cool, dry place.

That is beyond gorgeous! That white looks so nice!
That is awesome to see someone with such a close project! Tomorrow I'm probably going to be filling in the trim holes (properly) for the pieces between the rear windows and the back windshield since I'm going vinyl-less. It should be a fun project if it's not bone shakingly cold out again.

I have a pair of gold door shells that are nice from a ‘68 convertible. I have a sale pending on the glass and I think the vent window frames are different but I’d sell just the empty sheet metal doors.
