Good to see you still picking away at Dennis. It helps to have a few projects to take breaks and refocus.
Were you renting the house in Ajax?Winched the car up on my trailer yesterday evening, the first time this car had ever been on this trailer, as I built the trailer in 2015 and then did the big overhaul on it in 2018 when the car was already off the road.
Garage looks weird without Dennis in the back.
Headed out this morning, for a gas half ton with 332k it sure does pull 6000+ lbs nice at 65 MPH.
Got up to my grandparents house where I store some stuff currently until we sell it at which point I realized this was the first time since at least 2011 that Dennis left Durham Region.

No the house in Ajax is ours, my grandparents left their home jointly to my mother and I, part of getting the 73 out of the garage is so I can sell my house, my grandparents house will be forsale again come spring and I'll use what I get from it to hopefully drop my mortgage as low as i can so i can build a shop utilizing some equity. Were you renting the house in Ajax?
Did you inherit your grandparents place?
Given its location, You should have no problem getting a quick sale on your Ajax place whrn you are ready to list it.No the house in Ajax is ours, my grandparents left their home jointly to my mother and I, part of getting the 73 out of the garage is so I can sell my house, my grandparents house will be forsale again come spring and I'll use what I get from it to hopefully drop my mortgage as low as i can so i can build a shop utilizing some equity.
I was just thinking about you and that car today, there will be stuff I'll need from it for sure.Whenever you are ready to pick back up on Dennis again, I still have plenty of parts on the Green 73 in Texas!!
Thanks for the update. Brings back memories of heading down to Sodus NY 20+ years ago to a wrecking yard to pull the pad I put into Nessie.Headed out to a Junkyard I've dealt with for quite a few years, I actually worked with the owner for a while, unfortunately the yard has been sold and the majority of what's in it will be getting crushed out.
I knew this base 72 Suburban had a decent dash pad in it, so I headed up and spent some time today getting it out, its much better than my original and will certainly help to spruce things up.View attachment 693462View attachment 693463View attachment 693464View attachment 693465View attachment 693466View attachment 693467View attachment 693468View attachment 693469
