5 speedFarty is a fitting name if that’s the garbage dry DCT transmission car
Farty, because it’s getting nearly 40 mpg and it must be farting his way down the road.

I tried finding a related thread but could not seem to find one, but maybe I didn’t look hard enough. Anyways, curious question, what did you all name your cars if you did?
Since now having owned 3 cars, I’ve named my 2 daily drivers
Buckie a 1997 Olds LSS (may it rest in peace )
Clunkie a 1996 Olds Eighty Eight Royal
Now I named the cars like this because Buckie…. Bucked and Clunkie always had a clunk in the suspension. Now even though I bought the Chrysler at 16, 4 years on I still have yet to name it, Until now.
So please tell me if yall think the name is dumb but I’m getting the vibe that she’s a “Candy”. She’s rough around the edges and not the shining star she used to be, however she still finds ways to be cruel and drain my wallet I think it’s fitting if I’m wrong or if it’s dumbView attachment 703114 tell me, but this car does make me think of that kind of a woman

Background: 1965 Sport Fury, recently had complete restoration, but will never be done, with approximately 1,200 miles since completion, three years to complete process, owned car 36 years. I originally just called it "The Fury" which then went to the "Money Pit" but now has migrated to "POS," on a good day! Beautiful car which I have come to believe does not want to be driven and has a secret desire to be lazy and just wants be in the garage or in a museum! Sad to say, but my other car which is a 66 GTO convertible, 389, tri-power, 5 speed which I have had for 3 1/2 years and is always there and ready to go is "My Baby!" My goal is to eventually migrate back from "POS" to just "The Fury!"I tried finding a related thread but could not seem to find one, but maybe I didn’t look hard enough. OUCH! Looks as bad as Minnesota; lived there a number of years and in the winter you could hear the salt eat the car on a quiet night!I had my memory jogged the other day about my company car I used to have back when I worked for a living.
I called it "Vlad the Impala". Wintertime pic.

Golden Oldie..replaced Sweetheart. This 71 GY8 Coronet Brougham had a 318 that was rebuilt with some internal goodies but retained the Carter 2bbl. I got this car for FREE after it suffered a nuclear meltdown under the hood and dash.Sweetheart.. That she was. 68 VIP with a 318 that never let me down. Interior was mint. Power windows power steering and brakes. Being an excellent 250.00 winter beater, rust got the best of her. Gone 25 years now but a few of her parts still live on the BoaB.
