Did the 69 Polara ever come with 14" wheels?

Toyo 225/75x15 with the 15x6.
If I were to do it over again, I think the 215/75 would handle tighter. These toyos seem to roll on the rim a bit with the 15x6, as the manufacturer recommends 6.5 rims or wider. I did have 225/75 toyos on my 15x6.5 steelies, (1977 Cordoba)and they drove very much improved around curvy roads. They also gave the tire more room (less of the sagging look) to spread.
However, I tend to go way to the stock side, as I am an old fogey, and drove these cars when they were new.
Plus I like the original looks,,,,,you might look around for the C body thru till the early eighties, as I have found 6.5 rims on 80' models, If all you can find are the 5.5, I would definitely stick to the 215/75.

Looks good! What is 7 75 15? Would you have any pics with that size?

Just curious, if they were 15x6 wheels would it look any different with the hubcaps?
The size I quoted was the O.E. size on the tire placard on the drivers door jam. Sorry no pics from me but google may have pics!!

15x6 may have been the heavy duty rims used on wagons, fleet vehicles and the 1969 A12 six pack cars.
They will not look any diffrrent, but the tire size can change the look of the car.

Almost forgot, do Chalkenger/Charger wheels have the same bolt spacing as the c-body cars? In other words, would Challenger wheels fit on a Polara?

So the 15x7 wheels won't stick out farther out of the wheel wells than the 15x6?

Previous owner had 14s on my 69 fury. Not proportionally pleasing. Like fat girl with high heels. And yes a 15x7 will stick out towards fender 1/2" more than a 15x6 wheel with same backspace/offset.

No they will not stick out.
They both have the same offset but tge wider whel has more backspacing.
Basically the wider rim goes inward more without hitting anything.

How does it go inward more? I'm assuming it's the outer part of the wheel and not the inner?

Just curious what size would 8.55 x 15 be in today's tire size?
