Was getting ready to leave for the day to meet some friends for drinks bidding farewell to 2017, when walking through my shop I saw this......
Now to the naked eye, somebody else would never notice anything wrong, but I did when the car looked to be lower on the drivers side.
Looked underneath and saw one of the Polyglas tires went flat....

That much weight suggests that the belts may have separated, Polyglass tires were famous for that. I had several throw chunks back in the day.

Our cold weather has turned a very slow leak on the Monaco into weekly air-up.

Those weights had me thinkin when the last time the wheels were balanced. It must have been in spring of '15. Discount Tire was the culprit, but even with all those weights, it does drive straight.
Took the wheel off and will have it checked out tomorrow.

Does the V-shape of the "roller skate" make for what Goodyear terms "ride disturbance" after sitting there for the winter? If so, how long does it take to act normal? Just curious.

I couldn't tell you. This is the first year I'm using them.
My daughter bought me wheel dollys for Christmas, but only 2 of them. When I get the other 2, the V rollers will go on the shelf.

I got me a set of flat ones like you use for furniture but with high enough load capacity; haven't tested them however, the wife just took them to put her potted trees on for the winter.

One should be so lucky as to have a flat on their R/T. Sixpkrt, that's a beautiful car you have there! Did you do it or was it already done? Either way, you now own a real gem!
Question, the wheels that are on it......Those are called "Road Wheels", right? In the conversational forum thread of "15 X 7 Trim Rings" of a week or so ago, Other members were referring to what I have always called Rallye Wheels as Road Wheels. I'm trying to figure out if I have been mistaken in my Mopar knowledge for all of these past decades. I am willing to be humbled (once again), but I would just like to know for sure, one way or the other. Thanks for your response(s)

When I got the R/T it needed work. Replaced both rear quarters and trunk pan, Did some interior work and rebuilt engine after it was machined. My buddy's garage had all the tools needed for reassembly. (this was before I have the space I do today). Finished off with front to back new exhaust and added electric dumps.
The car has been reprinted twice. The second time was when some MFer did hit and run when it was parked in a Home Depot parking lot..I sank money into this car but I have no regrets doing so, as I plan to keep it.
As for the wheels, they were on the car when I purchased it. One day I noticed I had lost a center cap. I searched the web for a Mopar replacement and couldn't find one to match. So I went and pulled another one off the car to look for a part number, and to my amazement the cap had a Cobra logo on it when looking at it from the inside. The outside had been covered with black vynal sign tape, so you couldn't see the Cobra.
After discovering the wheels were Ford, I did another search an found out these 15" wheels came on the 69 Shelby Mustang.
I eventually found a guy selling 4 center caps on eBay and he wouldnt sell me just one, so I plunked down $160 for the set. (trying to find another cap was next to impossible)
I thought about changing the wheels to 15" Mopars but I like the look and it makes the car a little different.
This car is not a trailer queen even though just over 2300 R/Ts were built in 1970. It is driven regularly and sometimes hard when the weather permits.
I've had some guys in the Bbody world look at me like I'm nuts for driving this car instead of putting it up on a trailer. I don't think I'll hear any complaints here. This is probably why I spend more time on FCBO instead of FBBO.
