Now you just need to send it to me!my 66 Polara 500 is an original bucket seat console car and it has a smooth silver top, I had a 66 Satellite with the ribbed top so the smooth must be a C-body thing
And not so much at Tom's feet.does it look like this? look close at the pattern
you might be able to get a woodgrained top plate and remove the woodgrain ( I think it's a decal ) and then repaint the area where the wood was as silver to make the same effect.
That is wgrainhat I am going to try on a 4 speed top plate because they only make the woodgrain or the ribbed in new re-pop and I am 4 speed converting my car so I need the smooth silver just like what it has now except in a 4 speed plate.
If it's a Monaco 500 for Dodge, Polara 500's have a standard end cap.The chrome end cap should have a cigar lighter in it on a C-body,
There will be two sets of small holes at the very back, it should be obviousIt is a 69 Polara 500, I'll check for evidence of the clips, I haven't had much time to look at the car in the last couple weeks, hasn't been out of the garage since we got it home from Phoenix. Just got the lid open last night.

Should have grabbed it when it was at your shop.Is this still available?

I don't have seat belt clips on my '68 Monaco 500, but have one from a '69 (not sure what make) that had the clips.
Maybe, I was thinking of that when I was typing, forgot to clarify US production.Ok every C-Body I've seen in Canada has the Cigar lighter in the back of the console. Might be a Canadian thing? My 69 Monaco had the belt clips and the cigar lighter. I've also got a really clean console from a 1969 Sport fury that has it as well as the console from my 70 300 parts car.
Just checked, no holes. Console is black (should be blue) so it isn't the original, it is an original console car.
