Disc Brakes? What are your thoughts?

I don't doubt that they would be okay replacing 10.5 drums but you might actually lose some braking power compared to 11 on c bodies, depending on your proportioning might be better or worse. If they are noticeably more powerful rears will lock and come around

I have converted my 66 Sport Fury Convertible to 4 wheel disc brakes. All Chrysler parts. The fronts I used 74 Disc's and spindles, much cheaper that the factory 66 "Budd" disc set up. The rears I used from an Imperial 74 9 1/4 inch rear end. They bolt directly to the factory 8 3/4 inch housing, no problems. The Imperial set up has one caliper facing forward the other side facing back. You will need two different length e-brake cables if you don't get them with the conversion parts. I tried to keep my car "All Chrysler". You will also need an "Adjustable proportioning valve" for the front to rear brake balance. If you don't balance them, the rears will lock up and spin you around. I also installed a heavy duty 1 1/4" front and a 7/8" rear sway bar, they were very hard to find. Good Luck with your quest.

Sway bars you can get from firm feel, way easier than searching net and rust filled bone yards. I would like to know about putting 74 up spindles because I saved a set of these off a car for this purpose and they are different

I was always told it couldn't be done.
But I also remember Brian (Thrashingcows) once mentioning he did it.
We need a refresher course on this one.
74-78 FDB parts are cheap and plentiful.
