I'd be embarrassed to use that.Fake exhaust sounds, like a child's toy, LOL.
That marketing idea should come back to bite them in the ***. Like every comedy/satire writer should be making fun of such a silly idea to promote a car who's purpose is to eliminate engines. Like I have said before I'm not against EV, but this hard deadline BS is ridiculous. Bring them online against the ICE so you are not nuking your entire customer base and let the tech geeks, and eco nerds buy them, and by then they will have found their direction, be improved.I'd be embarrassed to use that.
But everyone under 35 couldn't even conceive why that would bother me.
You haven't heard? This I needed it yesterday mentally needs to go.
The Six Pack is intriguing. AWD and 550HP. Too bad the Hurricanes are junk and kicking rods in wagoneers at incredibly low miles. It is amazing how close to the concept, the 2025 Charger 2dr looks. Both EV and IC motors are available. Love the @Fratzog logo:

You can buy rods aluminum or steel that can drive 1000+ miles and make multiple passes in drag and drive racecars making 3500-4500 HP and a major manufacturer has their engineers castrated so bad their rods can't make 10,000 miles. Excellent plan! Ruin any reputation to make EVs look better. The Six Pack is intriguing. AWD and 550HP. Too bad the Hurricanes are junk and kicking rods in wagoneers at incredibly low miles.
When I was getting my driveshaft replaced under warranty, there was one in there with 1700 miles on it. Complete engine failure. My buddies cousin who is my LX specialist, said Stellantis was having him dissect, determine, and document the failure for research purposes.
They left the door open for a Gen 4 Hemi, I hope it happens.
It will be interesting to see how long the EV vehicles stay in production. Sales of most are tanking due to high costs and high financing charges and dealer lots are full of them. Lots of articles about very discounted sales of used EVs as no one wants to take a chance on a battery replacement. Another example of idiot politicians wanting to force the public into vehicles that are not practical for many. A couple of my neighbors bought them and they are afraid to park in the garage for fear of burning their house down from a battery fire (Teslas). Batteries go dead about -10F which takes them out of service on cold days in the north and mid-west. Insurance companies have been factoring in a lot of rate increases for fire and collision, many EVs are totaled if there is any battery damage. We are also starting to see major rate increases for electricity as utilities are trying to ramp up green energy projects to supply the projected increased demand for fleet conversion to EVs. Here in the Northwest we have seen a 30% rate increase over the last two years with another 8% increase requested for 2025. I will drive my gas pot until the wheels fall of and then I will put them back on.
