Does Anyone Know Which Fury Models Had Chrysler Star on Front Quarters?

There was actually a retrofit kit that dealers were sent and owners were offered for all 1963 models too. My friend's dad had a 63 880 with the dealer supplied kit still in the glove compartment. It came with the pentastar and nut and a template to locate and mount in the proper place on the fender. Late production 63's were supposed to come with them installed.

A fellow member and personal friend of mine on A bodies is doing some repair and mtx work on Bob Lutz's estate. I think he said there was a big storm up there this past week that damaged a bunch of stuff.

That would be cool to have that unopened

Very entertaining with a unique voice and delivery but the original purveyor of Fake News
Was it fake, or just unimportant. I remember one segment being about a garage sale. A garage for sale. How that was important I will never know as many garages have been sold. I still liked listening to him, I never expected Walter Cronkite news from him, like you said, entertaining.

Simpler times, I'd pay to hear some of that stuff today...

I am about to pick my car up front the body shop and wonder if I should be installing the Chrysler Star on the Quarters for a 1972 Fury III

The original molding was already off for a previous owners paint job and I am not sure if the car has star. I have seen both ways

I saw this picture with a star

I need to drill holes to install - anyone have any thoughts

That is a nice lookin 4 door, I've come back to it several times now.
About the hubcaps....were they supposed to be black in the middle and did they remove the paint on them for this car? This version looks a lot better.

Doesnt it bother anyone that this whole thread is about "front quarters" and not fenders? Is it just me?

Fenders bolt on, quarter panels are welded. There used to be bolt-on rear fenders. That was when welting went between the fender and the body shell. When rear "fenders" became integral to the body shell, they became "quarter panels".

B Pillar vs. post/sedan vs. Hardtop/differential vs. rearend - there is always something that bothers someone.
