Epic Whoops thread.

I wanna know how she got turned around

Three was a mistaken yellow flag on the corner.
the driver's in the front of the pack slowed down on the straight early and she didn't see or expect the brake lights from the car in front of her.
she dove right as she climbed the right rear tire of the car ahead of her, lost her left wheels and brakes, got catapulted into the air by the new raised track barriers touched the wall that spun her backwards and as they say, the rest is history.

A very fortunate young lady to be alive!
There is none surfacing from the photographer's bunker that she hit.
This is the best clip found.
the other vid's have seemed to have been removed that show her coming in backwards at 170+mph

F3 driver Sophia Floersch fractures spine in horrifying high-speed crash

Found it!

Analysis: The factors that saved Floersch's life

Have a look at the improved track run out barriers that caused her to catapult over the car she hit before she entered the bunker.

Great read. I'm impressed with the extreme measures taken to keep everyone alive when things go crazy. Building a track and a car that can handle that kind of crash is down right amazing. Many thanks to those designers.

I have the facebook feeds blocked...

Thanks for the information... Open wheel racing is always going to launch cars... I'm glad she survived, and hopefully she will recover from this... she's young enough to have a chance to heal nicely.

What was it? Don't make me use Google. :poke:

My guess gas house explosion, my dad experienced one when he was a kid, said the house down the block blew up and all that was left were splinters. When he got the job with Texaco and we moved to a new house he couldn't get the gas water heater out fast enough and replace it with a oil fired heater.

Yup, we used that one in our safety training at work.

Naaa the Russian Vodka warehouse accident was first everything else after is a copy cat.
I'd seriously look at the idiot that bought the shelves.
And the saying Don't stack 4 high comes to mind.
