to low...need to hug higher in the frame[/QUOTE]

Would you suggest getting rid of the last two shallow exhaust hangers?

might as well add my two and half cents.....Chrysler chrome tips underneath the rear valance. There's nothing wrong with the turn'd down look, aside from the fact I don't like it.

I'm a traditional guy, they're in the wrong spot and I can't get passed it

I guess I'm too traditional.

Hey jono67 your system looks fairly good, the only part I don't agree with is the tailpipes crossing over between the rear axle and chassis - this may compromise your suspension travel ( or not ). Maybe just one cadaver in the trunk at a time and no Duke boy stunts eh :)

This was my first thought to, but if you checked it out and everything clears. Go for it, it's your car.

Here are some photos of the finished product Im pretty happy with the result
Sorry about the quality
Rear leaves getting reset an inche or two tomorrow
Love to hear your thoughts
Not saying one thing has to do with the other....Ive noticed classic GM cars with duals usually run thier tail pipes out in those same general locations. Wut ever is best for you is the best way.

You can barely see them i this picture, but my buddy Steve had Charger style tips put on his Hurst. I thought they looked great, but he did get a lot of angry, "That's just wrong!" comments. Might be "wrong," but they still looked great!

here are the godawful '89 IROC-Z tips on my Newport.

I need to change them out post-haste, but whomever did this travesty hacked them like 4 feet back and WELDED them on. I dont know what the hell im going to do to rectify this situation.

I do like this look though...

no just a little extra time for better fitment instead of trying to knock off a job quickly

I'd need to get a better picture of the space on mine, the new pipes matched the originals bend for bend and the original hangers were used.
These have nice bends that tuck the tips in behind the bumper.
