Fury I and II have different bumpers. This would be for a Fury III
There is no finish panel on a 70 fury 1 or 2. Fury 3s are silver. Sport furys are black. For some time I thought all GTs were without screws, since none of my GTS have screws. However now I feel the screws vs no screws is probably related to build date. I have seen a silver fury 3 finish panel without screws. The eBay finish panel guy did use a picture of one of my GTs in his listing.

We also know:

Sport Fury; S/23; GT - Black Paint = $1000.00

Fury III - Light Argent paint = $799.99

Fury I and II - No panel, just the PLYMOUTH letters on the bumper = well, priceless....

:D

getting there....bumper with script only on bumper is also new info to me...thought they all had that panel or a variation there of...great info

I knew nothing about 70-71 Furys a couple years ago.
Now? I've been educated by the Best and the Brightest.

I find it interesting how little people know about many Mopars, not just C bodies let alone Furys. Sometimes my presumption is a C body guy is a C body guy....

No, no I do not. Much of the stuff is re run material from years past. Either the last six on this site or the previous 14 on the Drydock sites. I have forgotten way more than I learn here though much of it is like a refresher course.

I agree with that. In my summation of it all, there are lots of peculiarities about C-bodies, each model has its own little secrets. You can think you know a lot, and there's still so much you don't yet know.

I learned many years ago that a 65 Fury 3 trunklid finish panel and a Sport Fury panel are **very** similar. (those of you who know what I mean by that, well, you know what I mean)
Just last week I learned that a 68 Sport Fury taillight lens has a piece of aluminum that hides its birthright, which is a Fury 3 lens underneath.

I agree, there's far more I don't know then I do. I concentrate on the fuselage cars and have a ton to learn about slabs and formals.

I learn something new about C-Bodies every dang day here. Not so much about Formals but a ton of stuff about Forward Looks, Slabs, and Fusies,

I forget stuff about Polaras. I've been into them for so long I just don't remember all of it

My problem is I can not retain it all. With work, dogs, kids, grand kids, cars, keeping the wife happy and other interests I can't take it all in

The advantage of senior moments. The nice part is that I feel a sense of accomplishment that I learned something when I have my frequent memory lapses and forget what I knew. Like seeing an old movie or reading a book I saw or read years ago. Just like seeing or reading it for the first time.

Almost any car from any brand will have small idiosyncrasy's unique to it. If your into cars in general then the learning curve is endless.
Example: there are three different rear bumper ends used on 1957 Chevrolets.
