1978 NYB; Figure that I may as well "wrench" as you put it, because l'm living proof that somehow other things to do have become just a faded memory. Also gotta say that some of the times when I've paid someone else to do the wrenching I've
had to "re-wrench"to suit my liking afterward. Not always but too many times.

tallhair; I didn't intend on using my original post as my personal "biography" but by the time I got to do my real post with photos it was so late here that I had to give up and call it a day, especially since I couldn't figure out how to operate the photo sending proceedure and the top of my head was going into explosion mode! Got 2 to load earlier today but goofed up and they went somewhere? Will try again after my head goes back to it's normal shape.

bulldogchesty: Thanks for the welcome. I want to say that to be able to do car stuff into your eighties is a blessing, although I find that I take it for granted more often than I should. There are worse things that can happen in one's life than getting greasy fingers and skinned knuckles. It's hard to describe the feelings of pride and satisfaction that those of us on this forum get from what we've been able to accomplish in restoring and maintaining these great old cars and trucks! It is truly a labor of love. I'll post photos of my personal "labor of love" as soon as I figure out how to do that.

Welcome aboard from southern Canada. Great intro and looking forward to seeing pics of your Monaco. You are particularly welcome since you give a 60 year old some hope for the future.

It is always cool to be fashionably late to the party. Welcome to the asylum nonetheless. Can't wait to see that Dodge.

Welcome, You are an inspiration to me. Being ABLE to wrench into your 80s is nothing short of a blessing to me. I see you live in Fairbanks Alaska as well, double tough! I was fortunate enough to spend 3 years in the Anchorage area, and got spoiled by the fishing. Again, welcome and look forward to your posts.
Ben

Welcome, I also hope to turn wrenches to the end, just hope its not still on Peterbilts and Kenworths hoping to cut them off in let's say another 20 or so.

A very belated welcome. Any update on your '71 Monaco since a few months ago?
