I found a 70 Newport in Jims parts car collection that had a factory installed auxlliary transmission cooler. I was able to salvage it intact and will install it on Jazebelle. It will help save the trans while hauling the pop up this summer.

Where does that go, Will? In front of the condenser?
Does it replace the radiator tranny cooler ? Run in series? Run in parallel?
Very nice and cool (pun intended) score.

Yes Stan, it came off an A/C equipped car and mounted to the core support in front of the A/C condensor. The cooling lines ran up and over the top of the core support next to the A/C lines and connects in series to the radiator trans cooler and lines.

When I removed it I noticed the mounting holes in the core support still had the factory yellow paint in them, so it was not an add on.

I'll post some pictures after it's installed.

Interesting piece Will, no photos prior to removal?

That would have been the smart thing to do ....... but , no. :head_smack:
It's pretty straight forward though. I'll post pics once I install it on Jazebelle. I need to have it installed before Carlisle so I can pull the pop up.
