Flex plate

converter size is the only dif. when you get a flex plate just make sure you line it up to your converter to make sure it will bolt up. place the small hole in flexplate across from the drain plug and the mounting holes will be in alinment that's how you get your balance

There are only two: A smaller one that is used with most performance engines and trucks (factory "high stall" convertors) and the larger one that is used with the standard low stall convertors. Otherwise the crank pattern and convertor bolt patterns are the same on V8s from '65 up except for 273s made up until I think '66, which had smaller crank hubs (but the same crank bolt pattern). You have the one you need off that 904.

Thanks guys. I had a couple different people telling me there are 904 and 727 specific flex plates. On the Internet and off. I now know better! The 904/318 flex plate that came outta the fury is now back in it with the 727/413 .
