Just don't screw with a '77, 2 Dr, no vinyl roof, manual A/C, cloth interior, 440, authentic police package, NYB.
I will have to say something.

What if one were to only screw with this car by converting it to a 4 speed?

My point exactly. I said don't.
And I didn't.
David and I have sorted this out already. You're late to the party with improbable What ifs.
We could drag What ifs into this for the next 190 years.

not to stir up anything but my 2 cents.

It's not necessarily banter if presented as one way is correct ... " my way " ... all other ways are heresy and absolutely wrong / criminal intent without any room for personal choice in what a person wants to do with their property

I'm not citing examples or indicating Stan here ... more of a general comment regarding what I've seen all over the internet.
Everything I comment on is expressing how I view it.
I'm not telling anybody how to do anything.
This isn't www.digitalcorvettes.com

I just responded to the ebay site with this question. If it is a "K" code then only the broadcast sheet will answer the question.
I talked with the Elder Gentleman, here's what he told me. "K" code engine. Originally Blue, not sure which blue, could never get fender tag info from him, or from current guy selling it. Fan motor didn't work, windows need help going up. Has a 70 interior, 58,000 miles on engine since rebuild. Seemed like a decent price, $9500.00. But without putting eyes on it, I declined.
