Make it a 59 and the two door Commuter model, my favorite with Mercury wagons, 58 is close second.

The '58 has a way cooler front bumper although I like the sterility of that '59 Commuter.
I wouldn't kick either one out of my garage.

why chrysler didnt make more two door wagons is beyond me. we have had to make our own.

the road runner is floating around FBBO
and the valiant is floating around FABO
i have a B-body wagon and was considering this but .....that is a whole bunch of work.

Now the BIRD wagon is a cool machine. Now ya talking...ditch the scoop as to not give it away, 6 pak motivation and corny as 50's hub caps would be the order of the day if it were mine. Image the raw and utter carnage that would begin at red lights.......be still my heart.

The Edsel as a Bermuda or the two door wagon doesn't look bad to me, the other models are not worse than some other of the lesser designs of the era, if Ford went on with that brand as planned with the Comet that finally became a Mercury and succeeding models the bad rep wouldn't have stuck that hard with Edsel. They used to say looks like an Olds that sucked a lemon, but did you look at the 58 Oldsmobiles ? Overloaded with tinsel and fattish looking. Probably the weakest Earl design year overall.

I know some that are uglier. An AWS Shopper, well at least DeSoto used that name as well.
