Very interesting. Windows in buildings are often coated with Low E. It's applied when the glass is manufactured and it does the exact thing described.
 
That stuff caught my eye because nothing looks worse than dark tint on a classic car.
Well, except for fringe on a dashboard, maybe...

The condenser arrived today. I was shocked to see made in the USA on the box. It looks like an OEM fit. I may some time Friday to install it and charge it up.
 
Hey they had window girls in Korea, the Philippines just worked out of bars pay bar for your pick and away you go.
 
I was also surprised to see green o-rings on both inlet and outlet tubes on the condenser.
