Sorry it's foggy as heck out here, actually alot of good pickings on this one. Rear seat looks to be mint still. Sun visors are good mostly all the trim inside is nice still. I seen a peek under the hood and it looked like alot of the splash guards are there and intact. Will get pics under the hood tonight still. Taillight lenses are good but the trim does have pitting. 3 out of 4 door cards are usable also

More interior the brown crud is all dirt and will wipe off. He took windshield and rear window out so if you want interior stuff. Jump quickly as we have snow coming and this car ain't going inside.

I need a rear end housing/axles from a 68 Monaco or something similar I will definitely do some trading up or down on a housing/axles. As always I'm looking for 76/77 cordoba roller cars and bumpers 74-78 front bumpers new yorker/newports.

I will check upon stripping the car. Just trying to sell and be fair before it all ends up in a junk shell and off to scrap yard

Clocks ticking, once it comes off the trailer it's getting stripped bare and what isn't spoken for doesn't come out nice because I'm not saving anything for myself off this one

This will be the last car I post on here for a while, takes to long to strip these cars bare trying to save stuff to sell. I don't get hardly any buyers from this forum any more anyway so this is gonna be it from me for a while those of you who have bought from me on here thanks for helping recoup some cost of these cars but I can't sit on them forever they gotta get stripped to get built faster. :steering:

@Owen11x Are you having any luck selling parts on facebook? Or another market?

Or just going to not worry about the hard to find parts like that blue dash. That thing is sweet. Wish I had one of those cars that needed that.

I think it is very unfortunate that you don't get any turn around here. You are a valued member here , no doubt !!

This seems to be a problem on a multitude of forums across the internet.

Craigslist is where 80% gets sold. I don't have Facebook but my wife does. Alot of no shows from that and waste of time. And locals know me so I get random word of mouth people coming by to get stuff.

Yeah I post here to show derby guys aren't all bad but this is exactly why so many guys just strip them into dumpsters. We try to sell cheap and get no bites so away it goes. I don't have the room to keep all these parts and it's winter here so anything outsides going to the elements. I'm building 3 cars this season so just gotta get em stripped and built. I tried to help the c body community I have posted dozens of cars in 2 or 3 years alone on here

I'm surprised it's craigslist. It seems that is also dead. Fakebook always has flakes.

Well, I appreciate you making the point about derby guys. All the derby guys I have ever known have always been two ways.
Just throw it all in the trash or try to over charge me for what they have. I know of many a car in a yard right now that the guy wants top dollar for items that are not ready for top dollar sales. Claims the 440 sucks and that the 350 lasts way longer with no water. Takes out the 440's and junks em cause I and other won't pay top dollar for them.
Just goes to show, everyone is different and even in a buschel of rotten apples there will be a few good ones.

Much appreciated what you have done for the hobby, this one. And good luck with your next derby. Hope you the best of luck and smash all the other models.

There's a few guys on here. Yourself included that understand but it's sickening how many rude stupid comments I get about what I do with my own cars and money and time. I find the cars, I buy the cars, since i started listing cars here I strip them with care to sell and even give parts away but if no one buys them. To the dumpster they go. I only try to sell to help recoup some Cost of the cars I don't try to rip people off. 9 out of 10 I say to make me an offer or pay what ever it's worth to ya, I hope you enjoyed your care package though! Pretty cool owners manuals! It is what it is. Time is money and I can't sit around on parts when I have dead lines to meet.

Sadly the SBC is the dominate force in the derby world and crown vics but I still run built 318's and 727 and 8.75 in all my cars. Mopar front to back.

Huh, you find that the 318 lasts a comparable time in the ring to the 350?
Does the crown vic have a more sturdy body than the imperials?

Aftermarket derby parts and engine parts are more readily available for sbc and cheaper. My primary 318 has ran 25-40 minutes with no radiator and no coolant what so ever left. So if ya spend enough money they compete just fine. But mopar ears on the blocks just break then your toast and blocks junk. Sbc have a better mount design also. As far as crown vic vs imperial... imperials aren't what they used to be. There's alot of variables that determine the outcome. But crown vics are the dominant car by rules and by numbers. I run mopars because I also restore cars so having the parts cars are worth there weight in gold for me to have on hand and I have parts to patch up previous derby cars with. Derbies these days aren't knock the windows out and smash. It's extensive and expensive now days the only stock parts are the body and some of the frames really. Everything is modified one way or another.
