I didn’t try to haggle (yet) still trying to understand what the repair entails. Looking under the dash at the heater box tells me the dash would need to come out and I don’t think I want to do a dash right now

The dash would likely have to come out. The car looks stunning though and it’s still a deal at 17k, in my opinion.

Are you really concerned about the AC with a convertible?

I know the purists will cringe, but what is involved with putting in a modern system?
